Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a Quality Control Manager to provide Quality Management for Towed Array Systems Modernization efforts. The position will be located at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center, Naval Station Norfolk, VA.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Provide Program support in administering and maintaining the Quality Maintenance System

  2. Provide program support in achieving efficiencies across various disciplines in support of COMSUBLANT and MARMC

  3. Review TWD, MOA and WAR’s prior to the associated work availability to verifying the work being performed is compliant with all directives and conform to the processes delineated within the AIT and Modernization Quality Management Plans

  4. Perform Audits and surveillances as required.

  5. Track QMS training requirements

  6. Perform all other tasks as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical field and at least 3 years of job-related experience; Vocational/ Technical school or Associates degree and at least 6 years of job-related experience or equivalent.

  • Quality Control Program support experience

  • Excellent communications and analytical skills; working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs

  • Position requires a Secret Security Clearance.

  • Position may require travel.

  • Four years full-time experience in the documentation of operational/maintenance /installation data using standard military practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Submarine related QA experience
