Job Description:

JOB OBJECTIVE: To develop and implement a Blended HVAC Marketing Plan based on the HQ HVAC Marketing Plan and Business Group Initiatives. Blended marketing initiatives include managing the equipment promotions and equipment manufacturer’s Co-Op, managing local Branch promotions, and utilizing HQ Marketing Department Services including email marketing, media planning, communications, and graphic design.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • In addition to the essential job functions described below, all associates will work with branch associates and district management to execute requested marketing initiatives

  • Represent Blended as part of a Marketing Group that meets 2-3 times per year to review Marketing Plans, discuss branch marketing issues

  • Proactively working with branch associates to effectively utilize Branch Co Op allocations from HVAC vendors

  • Maintain and update local information on Branch Distributor websites

  • Manage and be accountable for all of the marketing programs and activities in their Districts

  • Ensure compliance with all elements of the Branch Style Guidelines set forth from the Marketing Department

  • Manage marketing vendor relationships once agreements have been approved by HVAC Segment Marketing Manager

  • Represent the company in a professional manner at all times ensuring quality customer service

  • Abide by all company policies, rules, and regulations

  • Abide by all company safety rules, regulations and procedures

  • Support corporate programs, goals, and initiatives

  • Work overtime as needed

  • Must be open to heavy travel the first 3-6 months and then about 30-35% travel after.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field

  • Possess good oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and within a team

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Event Marketing experience helpful

  • Advertising, Media, Marketing, Promotions experience helpful.

ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS: Attendance on a regular, consistent basis is mandatory including arriving at the time scheduled by the supervisor daily.
