SOUS CHEF – Responsible for the shift operations of the Lifesaving Station kitchen and all affiliated services (Beach House Bar, Sandbar, and Delivery Service) to ensure they operate efficiently and provide memorable experiences that exceed guest expectations while meeting/exceeding resort food and beverage financial goals. Develops and grows the kitchen staff through training, leadership, and guidance to form a highly effective and efficient team. Three years' experience in same/similar role in fine dining restaurant in resort/hotel industry, preferably AAA Four Diamond; culinary school degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience; one year supervisory or leadership responsibilities required; hospitality-oriented; excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; computer knowledge and skills (Word, Excel, payroll); frequently lift/carry up to 50 lbs. Seasonal - April 1 through October 31.
